Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2020

AP Polycet 2020 Exam Dates will be available by the authorities. Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test commonly known as AP Polycet 2020 is administered by the State Board of Technical Education & Training  Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh every year. It is a state-level entrance test to get admission in diploma courses in the field of engineering and non-engineering technology.

AP Polycet 2020 Application Form

• Students can go through the AP POLYCET 2020 application form:
• The application form will be available through online mode only.
• Students can fill their application form from the 4rth week of March 2020.
• Fill details carefully in the application form involve education, communication, personal, &, etc.
• Upload scanned documents i.e. passport size signature & photograph in the application form.
• Students can fill their application form till the 2nd week of April 2020.
• Take a printout of the filled application form & keep it secure for other procedures.
• The application fee will be paid online mode only. Students can pay their application fees using debit cards/credit cards or net banking. A fee will be Rs. 350 for all categories.

Eligibility Criteria for AP POLYCET 2020

Students must read the AP Polycet eligibility criteria before filling the application form:

• Students must be an Indian citizen.
•  Students should have valid domicile (Andhra Pradesh State).
• There will be no age limit.
• Students will have to be passed SSC or its equivalent examination.
• Students must be get passed with Chemistry, Physics,  & Mathematics Subjects, as these are the mandatory subjects. 
• Students will have to mark a minimum of 35% score in the qualified exams.
• Appearing students will also be eligible.

AP Polycet 2020 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: Offline mode (Pen-paper based).
• Duration:  2 hours.
• Question type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• No. of Questions: 120 Questions.
• Negative Marking: No negative marking.

AP Polycet Syllabus 2020

The AP POLYCET has one two hour paper containing Physics, & Chemistry, Mathematics, of class 10 level.

• Mathematics: Real Numbers, Surface Areas, and Volume, Coordinate Geometry, Mensuration, Linear Equations, Number System Polynomials, Algebra, Quadratic Equations, Trigonometry, Progressions, Probability. Sets, Geometry, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling.
• Physics: Units & dimensions Work, Power, and Energy, Heat and Thermodynamics, Kinematics and Friction, Modern Physics, Simple harmonic motion and acoustics, Elements of vectors, Reflection of Light, Refraction of Light at Plane Surface, Refraction of Light at Curved Surface.
• Chemistry: Environmental chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Water Technology Solutions, Atomic Structure, Fuels, Electro-Chemistry, Acids, and Bases; Corrosion, Polymers.

AP Polycet 2020 Admit card

The helpline center will provide the details as mentioned in the application form & upload the scanned copies of signature and photograph into a form. The printout of that form will be provided to the students for verification. If all the entered details are correct, the operator will press the ‘submit’ button to generate the admit card of the students. The students must carry this AP POLYCET 2020 admit card to the test center in order to appear for the entrance exam.

AP Polycet 2020 Result

• The competent authority after conducting an entrance exam will publish the result online at the official website. Students can expect the result probably in the month of May 2020. The competent authority will prepare a merit list on the basis of the student’s score obtained in the written test. Eligible students on the basis of the result will be called for counseling round.
• The students will also get the OMR sheet after the announcement of the result and it will be placed on the website in the month of May 2020.

AP Polycet 2020 Counseling

• The admissions into polytechnics will consist of Web Counselling based on 2 steps, i.e., certificate verification & choice filling. The certificate verification will be started from the last week of May 2020. Students whose certificates will get verified will be eligible for choice filling. Students are advised to fill more than one choice of college/course so that their chances of getting admission increases. The final seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit list, seats availability and category.
